IRS specializes in forensic IT investigations, with a particular focus on E-Discovery. They collect, analyze, and organize large volumes of information from automated environments. In order to help them communicate their expertise to lawyers in the Netherlands, I was asked to design a website for them.
With this website, lawyers and other customers can read about their capabilities and how they work. There is also a knowledgebase, in which they can share their expert knowledge to the world.
Connection with sister company
IRS is a sister company to Schippers IT, a cybersecurity company that they collaborate closely with. I was asked to make this connection apparent through the visual identity of the website, yet still allow IRS its own voice through the colors and typography. I ended up doing this through different design elements, like buttons, graphics and backgrounds.
Co-creating with the team
Due to my own lack of knowledge on E-Discovery and IT-forensics, I wanted to give the IRS team a way to make sure the content of the website was representative of their work. I did this through Markup, where the team could give comments on the website as I worked, allowing me to implement their feedback quickly and accurately.

Digital Designer
The end result is a website that gives lawyers insight on IRS’s knowledge and work, so that they can work together to make sure that, even in this increasing digital age, justice will prevail.
